Pimpono Ensemble is a Polish-Danish-Norwegian supergroup formed in 2014 in Copenhagen by Szymon Gąsiorek. The band is acclaimed for the balance between their free expression and collective discipline. A fresh approach towards free jazz, brass band sound and curiosity of experiment are merged with punk rock energy, lyrical melodies and noise. The youthful idealistic values conveyed on their debut album Hope Love Peace Faith (2016) are confronted with the challange of survival and existence in the world on Survival Kit (2020).

Pimpono Ensemble has toured in Denmark, Germany and Poland and played well-received concerts at such festivals as: Jazz Jamboree in Warsaw, Jazz Jantar in Gdańsk, Mózg Festival in Bydgoszcz, Arhythmic Perfection Plan in Szczecin, Warsaw Summer Jazz Days, Copenhagen Jazz Festival, International Jazz Platform in Poland or Jazz Goes To Town in Czech Republic.
